Dr. Jason and Dr. Todd trained at the University of Louisville, like their father, grandfather and great-grandfather. The team has grown, the rule has not.
Meet your dentists
The second generation. Both are Fellows of the Academy of General Dentistry, and both teach local elementary students why their teeth matter. Their father’s rule still runs the place: treat every patient like family.
Some grew up in Reno and trained at UNR and UNLV. Others grew up in Texas, Florida, Louisiana, California and Idaho, and chose to make Reno home.

Our pediatric team sees children from their very first tooth through their teenage years, with Dr. Jeff, our pediatric dentist. The first visit for children aged 3 and under is free: a full evaluation, plus a gentle cleaning and fluoride if your child needs it.
In-house lab & technology
Our in-office dental laboratory is run by Jim Copple, a certified dental technician who has been making teeth since 1979, with his daughter Amber. Jim can see you on the day of your consultation and match the exact shade of your own teeth.

A non-profit giving free dental care to veterans and active service members. Its first event was held here at Sala Family Dentistry on May 8, 2015.
The team collected new, unwrapped toys to bring smiles to local foster children over the holidays.

Our memberships cover a year of preventive care for less than $50 a month, with no yearly maximums, no waiting periods and no pre-existing condition limits. Gold is $419 a year, Platinum $539 and Pediatric $429. CareCredit and Cherry offer monthly payment plans for larger treatment.
The American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry recommends a first visit by your child's first birthday, or within six months of the first tooth. Children aged 3 and under get that first visit free, including a full evaluation and, if needed, a gentle cleaning and fluoride treatment.

Often, but not always: clear aligners are not appropriate for complex orthodontic cases, and they only move teeth when worn 22 or more hours a day. Total treatment time is about the same as braces. The consultation with Dr. Jason or Dr. Christina is free, so it costs nothing to find out.
Yes. After a consultation, a home sleep study is reviewed by a certified sleep specialist. If it confirms obstructive sleep apnea, a custom oral appliance can keep your airway open at night. We work alongside your medical team if CPAP is the better option. Call 775-322-2061 to schedule.
